BEFORE OFF TOWER
The old water tower was built in 1931 and survived WWII, as seen on this rare 1944 photo taken during liberation of Hondzocht (Lembeek, Halle), the first Flemish town freed before Brussels.
During the liberation, the tower was already a 13-year old teenager.
